An older cultivar of European plum brought to the states from an ancient french orchard over 100 years ago. This is one of the most popular varieties for drying into prunes but it is also excellent for eating fresh. Partially self fertile, but pair with 'Green Gage' or 'Mount Royal' for bigger crops.
